Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode joined other Muslim faithful in Ibeju Lekki on Saturday to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.
He urged the citizens to be hopeful for a better tomorrow and strive to make Lagos state a better place for all to live.
The Governor also used the occasion to assure residents of his commitment to their welfare irrespective of tribe, colour or creed.
Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs, Muslim Folami said the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir simultaneously across the state is to positively impact on the grassroots and identify with the Muslim community.
