Gombe State governor, Ibrahim Dankwambo has sworn in eleven new permanent secretaries with a charge to see their appointment as a trust.
TVC’s Lanre Adeyemi reports that though their assignments would differ, the governor wants the permanent secretaries to work together as a team noting that the civil service is the engine that drives government policies.
Dankwambo also wants the top civil servants to always remember their oath to shun corruption and discrimination.
The new permanent secretaries pledged to give their very best in the discharge of their duties.
The appointment of the new permanent secretaries is part of efforts of the state government to restructure and revitalise the state civil service.
