Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in Argentina on a visit aimed at strengthening ties with a nation that is home to the largest Jewish community in the region.
On his arrival, Netanyahu paid homage to the victims of two bombing attacks that targeted the Israeli and Jewish communities in Buenos Aires.
The prime minister laid a wreath at Memory Plaza at the Israeli embassy, the site of a 1992 bombing that killed 29 and left 242 injured.
Netanyahu later visited the headquarters of the Argentine Israelite Mutual Association where a powerful car bomb killed 85 people in a separate attack on in 1994.
Both Argentina and Israel blame the attack on Iran, though Tehran denies any role in the attacks.
