The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has promised to leave the 100 thousand dollar prize money to the Eagles if they win it.
The Eagles are already through to the semifinal of the competition after beating hosts Ghana to finish runners-up in Group A.
So, if Nigeria were crowned WAFU Cup champions on Sunday in Cape Coast, the team of 18 players and 7 officials will share the cash.
There is also prize money for the runners-up as well as the 3rd-placed team.
Nigeria will play Group B winner, Benin tomorrow at the Cape Coast Stadium. This follows the qualification of the Beninoise after their last group match on Tuesday.
Benin defeated a nine man Niger side, 2-1 in their final group game to qualify top of group B with 6 points.
Despite the loss, Niger finished second in the group and will take on hosts, Ghana in the other semi final match.
The two semi final games come up Thursday.
