Nigeria’s minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu has inaugurated a fingerprint detective technology at the Bioresources Development Centre Odi in Bayelsa State that has the capacity to show finger prints on crude oil.
TVC News Ovieteme George reports that Ogbonnaya Onu’s journey to the Bioresources Development Centre in Odi, Kolokuma/Opokuma Council Area started with a courtesy visit on the Bayelsa State Deputy Governor Gboribiogha Jonah in government house, Yenagoa and later the palace of Agara Onya Mozi, the Ibenanaowei of Kolokuma Kingdom.
On arrival at the Bioresources Development Centre, the Science and Technology Minister inaugurated a Fish and Poultry Feed Mill where he inspected equipment and facilities at the centre.
Ogbonnaya Onu also inaugurated advanced Bioresources Laboratory Complex in Odi. The Odi Bioresources Development Centre is the pioneer BIODEC established in 2003 by the Olusegun Obasanjo.
