The World football body has named Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid, his arch-rival, Lionel Messi of Barcelona and Neymar Silva Junior of PSG as top three for the FIFA Player of the Year Award.
Ronaldo beat Messi to win the award last year and Neymar came fourth behind Antoine Griezmann of Atletico Madrid.
Italian Coach, Antonio Conte of Chelsea is up for the best Coach award after leading the Blues to the English Premier League title in his first season in charge of the team.
Holder Carli Lloyd has been nominated again for the women’s player award.
Lieke Martens, who scored three goals in the Netherlands’ triumphant Euro 2017 campaign, and Venezuela striker Deyna Castellanos are competing against Lloyd.
The winners will be decided by a jury of club and international coaches, media representatives and fans with the winners crowned in London on the 23rd of October.
