Leon Balogun is the latest Super Eagles star to join China-based striker Odion Ighalo at the team’s training camp in Abuja with a majority of the players expected on Monday ahead of Saturday’s showdown against Zambia.
Mainz 05 defender Balogun arrived the Abuja camp late on Sunday.
A good number of the call-ups are due in later today and they include skipper Mikel Obi, Victor Moses, Alex Iwobi and Elderson Echiejile as well as the home-based stars like Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Dele Ajiboye.
Part of the squad will depart Abuja this afternoon for Uyo, venue of Saturday’s must-win World Cup clash against Zambia.
Nff Officials said they expect the team to have their first full training on Tuesday evening in Uyo.
