A federal high court has restrained the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa from conducting its state congress Saturday.
Some aggrieved members had dragged the caretaker committee to court to stop the poll.
The aggrieved members who addressed the press after a meeting through their spokesman, Umar Ardo said the caretaker committee did not conduct the congresses in line with the party constitution.
They added that they had complained to the congress appeal committee on shoddy way the congresses were conducted in 10 local government areas..
But, The secretary of the caretaker Committee Katap Gibon said his committee is not aware of any court injunction and will go ahead with the election.
