Some groups in Benue state have raised an alarm over plans by herdsmen to ambush the state following the ban on open grazing by the Governor Samuel Ortom administration.Represented by the leaders of the three major socio-cultural organisations in the state, they called on the federal government to come to their rescue and ensure that the Fulani group are not allowed to carryout their threat on the people of Benue state.
The group pledged support to Governor Ortom for implementing the anti-open grazing law as it will go a long way to restore peace.
