Condolences have been pouring in for the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Ahmed Bola Tinubu over the sudden death of his first son, Jide.
President Muhammadu Buhari in a telephone call Wednesday to Asiwaju Tinubu on behalf of the Federal Government described the transition of Jide as “sad and painful. The President said that the nation has been denied the services and potentials of the resourceful lawyer.
The All Progressives Congress through its Spokesman, Bolaji Abdullahi expresses shock over his demise.
They fondly described Jide as cerebral, industrious and full of life.
Similarly, the Speaker, House of Representatives described Jide as a lawyer of high repute who cut his teeth in the maritime sector and was hardworking and enterprising.
Dogara prays God Almighty to grant Asiwaju and his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar commiserated with the Tinubu family counseling them not to lose faith in the will of Allah.
The former Vice President also called on men and women of goodwill, friends and associates to rally round the Tinubus in prayers as they brave their moment of grief at the loss of a dear family member.
Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, described the sudden death of the APC national leader’s son as not only shocking but also, unfortunate and disheartening.
The governor said the country has lost another shining star and future leader.
