Four explosions went off in Borno State capital, Maiduguri early Tuesday morning, killing only the four suicide bombers who were killed.
Six other persons, five farmers and a civilian Joint Task Force member were injured.
The blasts which went off in Kalari part of the town, just behind University of Maiduguri is believed to have been carried out by suicide bombers.
There have been an increase in suicide bombings and suspected Boko Haram attacks in the northeast in recent weeks, with Maiduguri being the worst hit.
