Three suspected kidnappers are now in police custody for alleged abduction of a female police officer attached to Ijapo police station in Akure, Ondo state capital.
The officers escaped from the suspected abductors after she boarded their taxi on her way to work.
The policewoman who dressed in mufti suspected foul play and raised an alarm which attracted the attention of members of the public.
Spokesman of the Ondo state police command, Femi Joseph while parading the suspects, said the suspects are notorious kidnappers.

One of the suspects, Seun Oni said they are not kidnappers as claimed by the police
