The House of Representatives ad-hoc committee investigating the activities of telecommunications companies in Nigeria has summoned Globacom chief, Mr. Mike Adenuga, and the immediate past chairman of Etisalat Hakeem Bello-Osagie, to appear before it.
This is to enable them furnish the committee with relevant details of allegations on revenue leakages in the telecommunications industries.
The resolution was reached following the absence of both executive officers at the investigative hearing after a series of invitation.
The committee led by Honourable Ahmed Abu, said the investigative hearing is in accordance with the mandate of the House following a resolve by the Green Chamber over a motion.
The committee further threatened that an arrest warrant will be issued against the telecommunication chiefs, if they fail to heed the summons.
