The Court of Appeal sitting in Akure, Ondo State capital, has upheld the judgement of the State High Court which earlier declaration of Prince Oseni Isiaka Adu as the Alale-elect of Akungba Akoko.
TVC’s Ayodeji Moradeyo reports that in a unanimous judgement, the court, led by Justice Mohammadu Danjuma declared the selection process of Prince Oseni Isiaka Adu, as the Alale-elect by the kingmakers as valid and that the process and his installation as the traditional ruler of the town should be respected.
The court also ruled that Agure/mokun family of the ole ruling house are entitled to the throne. Counsel to both parties react to the judgement.
