Army kills seven Boko Haram members, recovers weapons

The Nigerian Army said it has dealt a big blow to Boko Haram, destroying terrorist equipment, make-shift accommodation, bombs, and booby traps.

The Director of Army Public Relations, Sani Usman disclosed that the operation by the Army and Air Force took place as troops advanced into Sambisa forest

He said the forces also killed seven terrorists and wounded several others, this is in addition to the recovery of several guns.

Two soldiers wounded in the fighting are reportedly responding to treatment.
