Contractors handling the Bayelsa International Cargo Airport project have been given up till the end of April to complete it, just as the state government has also set June as target for the completion of the Isaac Boro Road in Yenagoa the state capital.
TVC News Correspondent Ovieteme George reports that Works And Infrastructure Commissioner Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo is breathing down the necks of contractors handling most projects in Bayelsa State.
Ewhrudjakpo and top officials of his Ministry were also at the University Of Africa where Hostels have almost been completed while work at the state-of-the-art- Auditorium has reached an advanced stage.
The Bayelsa West Senatorial Road “Bridge Two” is key to linking communities in Sagbama and Ekeremor Local Government Areas.
The Inspection team from the Ministry of Works was also at the Bayelsa International Cargo Airport where contractors have committed to additional man hours on site.
