President of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Babatunde Runwase says the government needs to further improve the country’s business environment.
Speaking to business journalists at the first press conference for the year 2018, LCCI’s president commended government with regards to improvement in the foreign exchange market, improved stock market performance amongst others.
Babatunde Runwase was quick to add that the government needs to address issues surrounding food security in the country.
The president of the chambers also touched on the oil and gas industry where he called for an urgent review of the current policy framework.
He also wants interest rates reduced across board.
