The Nigerian Airforce has reacted to allegations by amnesty international, accusing it of human rights abuses in some villages around Numan, Adamawa state in December last year.
The NAF which criticised the body, said without its intervention the crisis would have escalated.
The Nigerian airforce challenged Amnesty International to produce credible evidence to substantiate its allegations that its air campaign the area led to the destruction of villages as well as loss of lives.

It promised to continue to protect lives and property of Nigerians without bias.
