Collation of results has been concluded in most Local Government Areas in the Osun Councillorship poll which was held on Saturday.
Final results are to be announced at the state’s Independent Electoral Commission office in Osogbo.
TVC News correspondent Rafiu Hammed reports that the election was generally peaceful in most of the places visited in Osogbo, Ilesa, Iragbiji, Osu, Ede and Ile-Ife.
But the chairman of Accord Party in the state, Segun Fanibe alleged some irregularities in his ward.
The state Attorney General, Ajibola Bashiru reiterates that parliamentary system will be adopted in running all the councils.
The election was held in 71 wards across the state while councillorship candidates in 318 wards had earlier been declared winners unopposed by the state independent electoral commission.
Elected councillors in each ward will now choose who will be their chairmen in each council.
