It was a black Sunday in Ondo state as two different road crashes have claimed no fewer than ten lives.
The first crash took place at Ajibamidele axis of Benin-Ore-Lagos expressway while the second road mishap happened in Akungba Akoko
The Lagos-Ore expressway crash happened around 10am when a black Mercedes Benz rammed into a blue Toyota Carina car, claiming six lives on the spot.
In Akungba Akoko, Four persons including a woman and her two grandchildren were crushed to death when a trailer rammed into the Ibaka market by the roadside.
The Ondo State Sector Commander of FRSC, Vincent Jack the two incidents, stressing that the remains of the deceased had been deposited at the morgue.
He urged motorists to always avoid overspending and mindful of traffic rules and regulations.
