Tragedy struck in Rimawa village of Goronyo local government area of Sokoto state as thirteen teenagers died in a boat mishap on Monday.
A mourner in the village told TVC News that the teenagers were travelling in the boat across the river for harvest before the unfortunate incident occurred.
Some of the parents of the deceased were also admitted in the hospital after receiving the news of their children’s demise.

Mourners gathered at the village square after the burial rite of the deceased persons who have been buried according to Islamic rites.
Sokoto state governor Aminu Tambuwal has visited the village to condole with the affected families.
