Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Abubakar Bagudu has signed the 2018 Kebbi State Appropriation bill into law.
This comes a one month after presenting it to the state House of Assembly.
Speaking during the signing ceremony, Governor Bagudu says, the 2018 budget is tagged the Budget of Transformation which is aimed at continual development of the state agricultural sector with the intention of expanding the scope beyond rice production.
He says, following the sharp drop in revenue accrue to state governments from the Federal allocation, Kebbi state will focus on empowering its citizens.
