Terver Akase, the spokesman to Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has told TVC News that killer Fulani herdsmen have agreed and promised to drop their guns.
Akase during a phone interview on TVC Breakfast on Wednesday February the 14th, said the promise came after a meeting between the Benue State government and the herdsmen.
Recall that suspected members of Fulani herdsmen killed two staff of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC on Monday.
The incident came barely 24 hours after state Police Command announced the murder of one of its officers recently kidnapped by suspected Fulani herdsmen in the state.
