President Muhammadu Buhari on arrived his home state of Katsina on Thursday for a private visit.
Buhari’s presidential jet touched down at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua International Airport at about 4.32 pm.
He was received at the Umar Musa Yar”adua Airport, by Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina state, Speaker of the state Assembly, the Emir of Katsina and members of the state Executive Council and heads of Security agencies in the state.
While in Daura, the President is expected to meet and condole with Families over the death of his close relations, Halima Dauda and Aisha Mamman who died a week ago.
Amongst President’s aides are the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media Garba Shehu and Director General of the Department of State Service DSS Lawal Daura.
The President was earlier in Kaduna State where he attended the induction of Nigeria Air Force’s ‘TSAIGUMI’, Nigeria’s first indigenously-developed Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV).
