Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama has thanked the German government for its humanitarian support in the northeast to the tune of $90m (ninety million dollars). Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tope Elias-Fatile disclosed this at a press briefing in Abuja.
He said the Minister made the commendation at a meeting with the Ambassador of Germany to Nigeria where he commended the German government’s support for moves to tackle the human trafficking challenges facing Nigeria.
The minister also expressed readiness of the Nigerian government to support the formation of a central government in Libya to tackle the illegal migration challenges that face both countries.
