The pan Yoruba Socio Cultural group, Afenifere has called for the immediate sack of the Minister of Defence, Monsur Dan Ali over what the group tagged as his unguided utterances over herdsmen killings in the country.
Rising from its monthly meeting in Akure, the ondo state capital, the group said such comment from the minister is not only derogatory but a sanction of killings in Nigeria.
Spokesman of the group, Yinka Odumakin who read the communiqué at the end of the meeting urged President Muhammudu Buhari to rise up to the challenge of his office by addressing the nation directly on these developments that threaten the corporate existence of Nigeria.
The group also called for the immediate reorganization of the country security architecture to reflect the diversity of the country .
Some Afenefire leaders who attended the meeting including former governor of Ondo state, Olusegun Mimiko and elder statesman, Olu Falae called for proper restructuring of the country.
