Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and other prominent members of the All Progressives Congress said the Coalition Movement by former President Olusegun Obasanjo will not tarnish the image of the party.
They spoke in Kano in reaction to the recently introduced movement after some youths were seen carrying placards registering their displeasure with the group.
The APC stalwarts said the party is intact and would never be threatened by anyone not only in the state but the country at large.
Meanwhile, a group has held a sensitization forum for youth to actively participate in next year’s elections.
The forum tagged Youths for Presidency 2019, centered its discussions on matters that affect Nigerian youths especially at the grassroots and possible solutions to these issues.
It believes with proper re-orientation and sensitization, more youths will be confident to contest for more political positions in 2019.
