It’s nine days to the Lagos City Marathon 2018.
And athletes have started collecting their running kits with the hope of to take part in the 42 kilometre and the 10 kilometre family race.
Runners trooped to the collection centre at the Molade Okoya Thomas Hall of the Teslim Balogun Stadium.
Hundreds of athletes took their turn to receive their running vests and numbers attached with electronic chips known as transponders.

Intending runners also had to go through some cardiovascular screening and for those eyeing the prize it was a time to get into the access bank books inc case they win the big money.
The Lagos City Marathon comes up next Saturday.
