The Nigeria Medical Association in Osun State has confirmed one person dead with forty others presently under observation in Isolation centres for suspected Lassa Fever cases.
Chairman of the Association, Tokunbo Olajumoke who stated this in Oshogbo said the person who died as a result of lassa fever was brought in from Ondo state.
According to him, those who had contact with him before he died are currently in Isolation centre set up in the state.
As at the time of filling this report, the state government is yet to make any official statement on the matter.
