The Minister of Solid Mines and Steel says there’s a lot more impediments to the functioning of the Ajaokuta Steel Company than meets the eye.
At a news conference in Abuja Kayode Fayemi explained that a number of countries that were part of the former Soviet Union are laying claims to their purported stake holding in the moribund company.
His comments follow a vote of no confidence passed on him by the House of Representatives on March the 1st, for his failure to honour an invitation to appear before it to explain how to revive the moribund Steel Company.
