The first civilian Governor of Adamawa State, Abubakar Saleh Michika who died on Saturday has been buried.
Michika was buried on Sunday in Nasarawa State according to Islamic rites.
One of his sons, Hafiz Saleh Michika, said he had been complaining to the state authorities that his father needed to go for medical check-up.
He said the state government also refused to pay his pension.
Michika, an astute administrator, political strategist and community developer, worked with reputable international organisations before bringing his experience and skills to contribute to the development of Nigeria
