Image result for MSSN Security SymposiumThe Lagos state Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has identified active participation in Governance as the way forward in Nation building.

The governor who was speaking at Muslim Students Society of Nigeria Security Symposium with the theme “Nigeria Security Challenges: How it Concerns You “ said it was time citizens knew the importance of voting and deciding those who govern them.

While the guest lecturer, Commander of Rapid Response Squad, Olatunji Disu spoke largely on security issues including the importance of families creating security codes, Lagos residents having Lagos State Emergency numbers stored in the phones amongst others.

One of the discussants, Director, Muslim Rights Concern, Professor Lakin Akintola while talking on fundamental human right, lamented the way Nigeria as a country and Nigerians treat their security agents .
