A chieftain of the National Conscience Party (NCP), Thomas Wilson Ikubese has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to save more souls from committing suicide by re-considering his earlier stance and grant assent to the Peace Corps of Nigeria (PCN) bill to the glory of his administration.
President Buhari had on Monday declined to sign the peace corps bill into law.
Addressing a news conference at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Akure, the Ondo State Capital, Wilson – Ikubese who is a presidential aspirant appealed to President Buhari to reconsider the bill to create jobs for the teeming unemployed youths in the country.
He also implored the national assembly to do the needful if the president refused totally to sign the bill.
He noted the President should have used the peace corps to fortify security network around the country.
