The Senate is to write the Chief Justice of Nigeria over what it terms interference in the workings of the National Assembly by some court pronouncements.
Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio raised a motion at plenary based on a court judgement asking the lawmakers to stop an alleged plan to veto the recent rejection by President Buhari of the Electoral Act amendment.
Senators unanimously agreed to write to Justice Walter Onnoghen to complain about the judge that made the court pronouncement.
