A military plane crash near Boufarik airport in Algeria on Wednesday killed at least 100 people, a local media has reported.
Local news website TSA said 105 people had died, quoting what it called provisional figures from the civil service. A statement from the defence ministry confirming the crash gave no casualty toll.
A Local TV channel reported more than 100 military personnel were on board the plane when it came down near the airport not far from the capital Algiers.
It happened on Wednesday morning at Boufarik Military Airport, an air force base near the capital, Algiers.
