The weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting will not hold this Wednesday, as President Muhammadu Buhari will instead, meet with the service chiefs at 12:00 noon Nigerian time.
The reason the president is meeting with the service chiefs is not yet known but sources say it could be an emergency reason since routine security council meetings usually hold on Mondays.
The president had recently vowed to sanction the security chiefs should there be a repeat of any form of abduction in any part of the country.
Meanwhile, President Buhari is expected to leave Nigeria for London on Monday, April 9, 2018, to commence his annual vacation, a source within the presidency has confirmed.
