The Nigerian government has released more names of alleged looters during the Goodluck Jonathan administration.
On the new list are 23 names, including those of three People’s Democratic Party senators, and four retired senior military officers.
Government was widely criticised after it released a list earlier of six alleged looters, all members of the PDP.
The criticism came from the opposition party, and from Nigerians who thought there should have been more names.
In releasing the new list, information minister, Lai Mohammed said both lists are based on verifiable facts.
