A group of ex-PDP Political Office holders in Osun State have expressed disappointment over the burning of the party’s flags and other party symbols at their state Secretariat in Osogbo. They are also disappointed in the former Deputy Governor of the state, Senator Iyiola Omisore whom they accused of burning the symbols.
TVC News Correspondent, Rafiu Hammed reports that what used to be the State party Secretariat of the PDP until 2015, when the party lost the governorship election, now belongs to Omisore and his supporters since the party became factionalised.
But the last state congress of the party where Omisore’s loyalists lost was the reason for the burning of the party’s symbols.
Addressing journalists, leader of the group, said the action was the peak of the senator’s self determined war against the PDP. Ojo Williams said Omisore can never be intimidated.
Though Senator Iyiola Omisore is yet to officially leave the party, the group wants Senator Omisore to come out and state in clear terms, if he is in the party.
