Plans by the Lagos state government to give residents free and quality healthcare, are progressing, with a Bill to amend the Lagos state health scheme presently before lawmakers.
A public hearing was held at the state house of assembly on Friday, with lawmakers and some members of the executive present.
According to the chairman, ad-hoc Committee on Health, Segun Olulade, the law is being amended to ensure that residents are well covered under the state health scheme.
