Ondo State House of Assembly has dissolved the Caretaker Committees in the 18 local government areas of the State.
This followed the expiration of the tenure of the caretaker committees on Tuesday.
The house at plenary asked the committees to handover to the various directors of local government administration in the respective council areas.
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu had on April, 2017 sworn in the caretaker committees in the eighteen local councils of the state.

Speaking with reporters after plenary, the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Bamidele Oloyelogun said the the dissolution was done in line with the constitution.
