Osun State Commissioner of Police, Olafimihan Adeoye, said investigations are underway to ascertain the cause of Saturday’s explosion in Ile-Ife which killed one person.
Adeoye who visited the scene of the incident said the deceased was Sunday Adebayo, the younger brother of the owner of the supermarket.
The CP enjoined residents to be calm, vigilant, and assist police to carry out necessary investigations.

He also called on the remaining residents of the adjoining buildings to vacate.
