Benue state Governor Samuel Ortom has left the ruling All Progressives Congress for the Peoples Democratic Party.
He announced his decision during a meeting with local government chairmen and councillors at the Government House in the state capital, Makurdi, hours after protesting youths barred him from traveling to Abuja to attend the APC reconciliation meeting.
