Nigeria Customs Service, Federal Operation Unit, Zone B has arrested 21 suspected smugglers and seized goods worth N218 million Duty Paid Value from them.
The FOU Comptroller, Mustapha Sarkin-Kebbi made the disclosure during a joint press conference in Katsina State. He said the arrest and seizures were made in the last one months and in States that covers the Zone, Kaduna, Kano and Katsina States.
The seized items according to the Comptroller are 4,000 bags of 50kg parboiled rice, kegs of Vegetable oil, bales of second hand clothes and some illicit drugs.
