The Federal government said it has so far disbursed over N12b, to 1.2 million citizens in its tradermoni micro credit programme. The government said the scheme is aims to reach two million people, with N20b, to boost their business and skills.
Fielding questions from journalists on allegations that the initiative is out to score a political point, the government through the Bank of Industry, which is implementing the scheme, said the programme has been operational, since 2016.
