The Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State, Senator Buruji Kashamu has insisted that he is the authentic candidate of his party in the state.
He made this known in a press release that in spite of the position of the Uche Secondus-led National Working Committee of his Party, he remains the candidate known to law and the majority of party leaders and members.
He referred to the FCT High Court ruling, in a case filed by Ladi Adebutu, which ruled that although the national leadership of the PDP is the right body to conduct primaries, it was done in flagrant disobedience of subsisting court judgements.
It will be recalled that the Peoples Democratic Party had earlier insisted that Ladi Adebutu remains its governorship candidate in Ogun State.
