A faction of the All Progressives congress in Imo state led by Chairman of the Caretaker committee, Marcellinus Nlemigbo has suspended the Imo state Governor, Rochas Okorocha from the party.

According to the statement, the committee alleged that Governor Okorocha has been sponsoring and canvassing support for the Action Alliance, AA, Governorship candidate of Uche Nwosu, adding that the actions contravene the provisions of the party’s constitution.
But the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sam Onwuemeodo has described the action as exercise in futility.
