Kano Pillars players, Yaro Bature and Sikiru Kamal escaped death after their Toyota Camry car caught fire while veering off the road in Kano.
The players were returning to to join the team camp in Kano from Jos when they veered off the main road in an attempt to avoid a stationary vehicle packed in the middle of the road.
Pillars in February 2018 lost former defender of the Sai Masu Gida Chinedu Udoji to a road crash in Kano.
The former Enyimba captain was on his way to his house after visiting his former teammates when his car crashed after running into a road median.
