Organised labour has called on members of the National Assembly to demonstrate their love for their constituents by rejecting the N27,000 proposal sent to them by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Labour is threatening to shut down the nation’s economy if the legislators make any move, contrary to their demand.
NLC President, Ayuba Wabba, made this position clear in Abuja, at the end of the Congress’ Central Working Committee.
The one-point agenda meeting focused on the transmission of the Minimum Wage Act Amendment Bill, carrying N27000.
