The Ondo state command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has arrested twelve suspected Indian hemp cultivators in Ipele, Ose local government area of the state. Parading the suspects, the state commander of the agency, Gagara Haruna Abu said the twelve suspects were arrested in a thick forest during a special operation.
He revealed that fifty-five bags of cannabis sativa were seized in the forest during the operation while a total of 300 kilograms of the substance were burnt in the forest.
He added that three single barrel and one pump action guns were also recovered.
