The Nigerian Stock Exchange has delisted Diamond Bank, Continental Reinsurance and NEM Insurance Plc from its Corporate Governance Index with effect from January the first.
This was disclosed by the NSE in a statement which states that the Index Committee has removed diamond bank due to its recent governance issue.
The committee also removed Continental Reinsurance from the Index following it’s application to the Exchange to delist it from the official.
The CG Index tracks the performance of CGRS-rated companies using their market capitalisation, free float and corporate governance rating scores.
